Cartman's Suzuki VZ800. History Photo's Meetings/Treffen Manual Links PATCHes To Do - list
Since April 2007 I'm the proud owner of a 1999 Suzuki VZ800, or a MARAUDER .! As I was looking for a bike, Yes the itchy feeling was back after 15 years no motor, also to join a motor tour at work, a colleague pointed out this beast. After some net-searching on sites and forums, talking to the Mrs.. and a good look at the bank-account, a testdrive-appoinment was made. Not a very nice day, bit cloudy and grey, I found me old motor-jacket (Yeee, still fits) and went to Motorport Goes. I was sold when I saw it in the shop, but needed a test-drive. Still after 12yrs. no-bike it felt good, very good. Took a test-drive on the island for an hour and went back to the shop. "Sold !", was me first reaction to the guy.. He gave me some coupons for the McDonalds, next door, and rushed off to get the motor ready.. While I was having me Lunch they fixed the paperwork.
